A tribute to our Favourite President

Here we are in India , where citizens aspired to be the next Kalam, 

Where children adored their respected and dearest 11th president,
Where we as Indians mourn over the death of Dr. Abdul Kalam , I would like to present an excerpt from one of his speeches at the European Union:

"Both India and the European Union have witnessed and are witnessing the unsavoury acts of certain misguided sections of society. Together we must address the root causes of such phenomena in order to find lasting ways to promote peace. How do we do that?
We need a carrier of eternal goodness and wholesomeness in human conduct, which is called ‘righteousness’. As we say in India:
‘Where there is righteousness in the heart
There is beauty in the character.
When there is beauty in the character,
There is harmony in the home.
When there is harmony in the home,
There is order in the nation.
When there is order in the nation,
There is peace in the world."
(Applause)

Now that was how he dreamt for a peaceful world. Many of his dreams were turned into actions , and he remains my favourite president till date .

Struggling all his childhood days with responsibilities to bear , from being a newspaper boy to a scientist . Life was a distinct sojourn for our 11 th president!

A SHORT WRITE-UP FOR THE MISSILE MAN :

Through his humble heart ,

He won the hearts of many,
Ranging from young to old .

He cherished his childhood
With friends and family
A man of knowledge and dignity ,
Spiritual and virtuous in all his endeavors .
Arduously putting efforts for Space research and establishment ,
Ignited minds , Wings of fire , India 2020 ,
Turning points and Indomitable spirit , 

Teaching the world a galore
Of knowledge and experience,
Nurtured by Ashiamma and Jainulabdeen ,
The nation received a gift to the mankind !
On 15 th October 1931 ,
At Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu

Imbibing Simplicity and excellence ,
From beginning to end ,
Growing and spreading his warmth,
Through his words and wisdom .

His unflinching beliefs ,
His undying efforts ,
His unwavering faith on
Mankind ,
His very name which inspires:
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam .

You were that one in a million star,
Sparkling brightly throughout the day ,
You were that one hope India is losing forever today ,
May the creator embrace you in heaven,
I pray that you rest in peace .

Making his dreams come true ,
He has honed nations greatest achievements !
Leaving his life nothing undone ,
Your life is your story
And this is my tiniest bit as tribute to you .

Lastly here is a kural that was very dear to our Kalam sir , a kural by Thiruvalluvar , 

"Ulluvathellam uyarvullal matratu
Tallinum tellamai nirttut "
( Think of rising higher . Let it not be your only thought .Even if your object be not attained , the thought itself will have raised you )
