The most awaited day of the month;Valentine's day is here . While people are busy expressing their fond love and affection towards each other and their loved ones I wonder if they have loved themselves justly .
Just like waking up in the morning and having our daily mundane things done , loving oneself should be a routine . Great philosophers quote and summarise life as a ride to know thyself . Well let me second that along with the word LOVE . Love is a blissful feeling which unifies us with the world and with our soul .
Some are unfortunate to have heartbreaks along their relationships , some are fortunate to stay with their partners , marry their soul mates . But what if we loose this bond , are we not blessed with an emotion of loving ourselves ? I bet we are . Looking at the mirror and giving that lilttle curve of smile to yourself, can give you giggles and laughter or make your day . Love comes only if we are happy . And not the other way around as people mention that if i have 'love ' in my life i shall be happy . Unless your heart beats for yourself you can't share that with others .
Writing chaos of heartbreaks , reading testimonies and hate speeches of Love , being in touch with people ignorant to the concept of love isn't something unusual . I have met people who do not believe or perceive the emotion of love . But all along i have also noticed the hollowness they carry in themselves.
While people are hurrying to be in relationships and get carried away by just the ' hormonal love 'or i-like -the- idea-of- you -so- i- am- high- on- love , and give away their hearts to be broken all in all I say start with yourself know yourself , love yourself first only then can you share it , express it and well enjoy it.
We are living in an age of instant coffee , may we not forget the long lived ways of living love ! Give time to love and preserve it . It takes effort to preserve love and that's loyalty .
WELL FOR OTHERS WHO HAVE ACTUALLY FOUND THE FEELING OF BEING LOVED AND A BEING TO SHARE THE SAME ;GOODLUCK FOR TIME AHEAD .
AND FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL ON THE SEARCH FOR LOVE - KEEP BELIEVING , LOVE WILL CROSS BRIDGES AND COME TO YOU ONE FINE DAY .
